Exact solar terms worldwide
The moment each solar term begins is matched precisely to local birth time, so year and month pillars stay correct for births anywhere in the world.
Professional BaZi calculator
Namo Manse applies daylight saving time, historical time zones and true solar time for birthplaces worldwide, and sets the year and month pillars from the exact solar-term moment wherever you were born. The calculation basis stays beside every chart.
Free on the App Store and Google Play worldwide, except mainland China. Available in Korean, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese.
The moment each solar term begins is matched precisely to local birth time, so year and month pillars stay correct for births anywhere in the world.
Daylight saving time and past standard-time changes at the birthplace are applied automatically. Repeated clock times ask which one you mean; skipped times are flagged.
Day and hour pillars use true solar time corrected for longitude and the equation of time, with the correction shown beside the chart.
Four Pillars, 地藏干, 十神, 十二運星, 納音, 空亡, 神殺, Five Elements and 合·沖·刑·破·害 on one screen, with major-luck timing to the minute.
Determines the chart structure (格局) and Day Master strength (身強·身弱), then names 用神, 喜神, 忌神, 仇神 and 閑神, with each method’s candidates and reasoning (調候, 格局, 抑扶) and Five Element strength ratios.
Pro encrypts client charts and consultation notes in the cloud and syncs them across devices. On iPad and foldables, read the chart and its basis in up to three panes.
Calculation basis
Every chart shows the local birth time you entered, the time zone and daylight saving applied, and the true solar time correction, so you can explain each result in a consultation.
The eight stem-and-branch characters of birth year, month, day and hour.
The moment a solar term begins. The year pillar changes at 立春 and each month pillar at its solar term.
The heavenly stems contained within each earthly branch.
Ten relationships derived from polarity and the generating/controlling cycle.
Ten-year cycles timed from the distance between birth and the relevant solar term.
Local solar time at the birthplace, corrected for longitude and the equation of time.
The structural type of a chart, read mainly from the month branch. One of the bases for choosing the Useful God.
The element that best balances the chart. The element supporting it is 喜神; the one harming it is 忌神.
Whether the Day Master is strong or weak within the chart.

Namo Manse is a professional BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) calculator for iOS and Android. It builds a chart from birth date, time and birthplace, applying daylight saving time, historical time zones, true solar time and exact solar-term moments, and shows 格局 and 用神, major and annual luck, Ten Gods, twelve stages and 神殺 on one screen.
Chart calculation and all analysis are free with no sign-up or login. Three recent charts are stored encrypted on your device. Subscribe to Pro only when you need client management and cloud sync.
Yes. Search and pick any birthplace worldwide; the birth time is read in that place’s time zone at the time, and solar terms are compared at the same moment. Just enter the birth time as it was recorded locally.
It checks whether daylight saving time was in effect at the birthplace on that date and applies it automatically, including past rules in the US, Europe, Australia and East Asia. When clocks went back and a time occurred twice, the app asks which one; when clocks jumped forward and a time never existed, it asks you to recheck the birth record.
The year pillar changes at 立春 and each month pillar at the exact moment its solar term begins. Namo Manse compares that moment on the same basis for every birthplace, so births just before or after a solar term get the correct year and month pillars.
True solar time is the actual solar time at the birthplace, corrected for longitude and the equation of time. Places sharing one time zone can have different sun positions, which can change the hour pillar, so day and hour pillars use true solar time and the correction is displayed.
Yes. Every chart gets its 格局 and Day Master strength (身強·身弱), plus 用神, 喜神, 忌神, 仇神 and 閑神. You can also see the candidates and reasoning from each method (調候, 格局, 抑扶) and Five Element strength ratios. The analysis is the same in Free and Pro.
The time determines the hour pillar and luck timing; the city determines the time zone, daylight saving and true solar correction in effect at birth.
Choose the nearest city and mark it as approximate. The mark stays attached to the result and saved chart.
Yes. Solar, lunar and lunar leap-month dates are supported. If a leap month or day does not exist in that year, the app tells you how it was adjusted or asks you to recheck.
Births from 1 January 1900 through 31 December 2100.
