1. Purposes and legal grounds

We process information needed to calculate charts, authenticate accounts, verify Pro subscriptions, store and retrieve client charts and consultation records, respond to inquiries, and improve app stability and understand usage. Processing relies on the applicable lawful basis, including performance of a service contract, consent or a legal obligation.

Free calculations do not require registration. Sign-in and cloud storage are optional; withholding information needed for a feature may prevent its use.

2. Information we process

Calculations: the birth date and time, sex, solar/lunar calendar and leap-month selection, birthplace, coordinates, time zone and calculation settings you enter are sent to our server to produce a chart. You select or enter the birthplace; we do not collect the device’s current GPS location. Public calculation requests are not stored permanently, and birth data and coordinates are excluded from server application logs.

Accounts: email address, internal account ID, sign-in provider identifiers, and the hash, issue time, use time and expiry time of email sign-in links. Links can be used once within 15 minutes; expiry does not mean the record is deleted.

Pro client management: saved client names, birth details, charts, tags, favorites, consultation titles, notes and dates, creation/update/deletion times and synchronization versions.

Subscriptions: store, product and transaction identifiers, purchase-verification references, account-linking identifiers, subscription status and expiry. Apple or Google handles payment credentials such as card numbers; we do not collect them directly.

Website and API access may generate operational access records such as IP address, request time and path. Inquiries include your reply address and message.

App usage statistics and crash records: app-use events, app and device information, approximate region, an app-installation identifier and crash records. Details, consent and how to opt out are described under “Advertising, AI and external links”.

3. Device storage and retention

Up to three recent charts are stored encrypted on your device until replaced or deleted. Language and calculation preferences and sign-in state are also stored locally. Deleting an account and deleting recent charts from a device are separate actions; remove local records yourself on shared devices.

Account and cloud client/consultation data are retained while you use the service. Subscription expiry alone does not delete your account or records. Deleting an individual client or consultation marks it as deleted for synchronization; it does not immediately erase the server record. You can request permanent deletion through account deletion or by contacting us.

After signing in, use “Delete account and cloud data” in Settings to delete your account. This deletes all account, sign-in association, email sign-in request, subscription transaction/verification, client and consultation records from the service database. Existing sign-in sessions and previously issued email links can no longer be used. Store subscriptions must be canceled separately.

Information that must be retained by law is processed only for the relevant statutory purpose and period. Information no longer required is deleted using methods that prevent recovery. Store-held transaction records are subject to that store’s policy.

4. Processors, external services and international processing

NAMO Inc. sends sign-in emails through its own mail server in the Republic of Korea without an external email delivery provider. App servers and backups are operated and stored in the Republic of Korea. The production database uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Seoul region, Republic of Korea.

Apple App Store and Google Play handle payments, subscription management and purchase verification. Purchasing, restoring or checking a subscription may send transaction references and account-linking identifiers to the relevant store. Client charts and consultation notes are not sent for purchase verification. Each provider’s privacy policy applies to its own processing.

Where processing involves an international transfer, we use the legal grounds and safeguards required by applicable law and provide required details, including recipient, country, data, purpose, transfer timing/method, retention and how to refuse. Separate consent is obtained where required. Refusing a necessary transfer may prevent use of the relevant sign-in or subscription feature.

We do not sell personal information or disclose it to third parties for advertising. Other disclosures are limited to a lawful basis, such as a legal obligation or separate consent.

5. Advertising, AI and external links

Namo Manse does not use third-party advertising SDKs, ad trackers, push-token collection or third-party AI analysis. It has no face or palm-image collection feature.

The website uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, for visit statistics. Usage information such as pages viewed, referral source, device and browser type and approximate region, together with cookie identifiers, is sent to Google and may be processed outside Korea, including in the United States. Collected events are deleted after 14 months. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled, and no chart, account or client data is sent. No analytics cookies are stored for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. You can refuse collection by blocking cookies in your browser or using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google LLC, to improve stability and understand usage. App screen and feature-use events, app and operating-system versions, device model, language and region settings, approximate location inferred from the IP address, an app-installation identifier, and crash records with device state are sent to Google over the internet while you use the app and may be processed outside Korea, including in the United States. No chart, birth, name, email, client or consultation data is sent; the data is not linked to your account; no advertising identifier is collected; and nothing is used for ad personalization. Usage statistics are deleted after 14 months and crash records after 90 days. Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland (based on device region or app store country) are asked for consent on first launch, and data is collected only if they agree. Any user can turn collection on or off at any time in the app under Settings → “Usage statistics and crash reports”. Declining does not limit any app feature. The Fated card at the bottom of the website links to a separate service operated by the same company. Links may include referral-source parameters, but do not automatically transmit charts, client data or consultation records. Fated’s own terms and privacy policy apply when you use it.

6. Your rights and clients’ rights

You or an authorized representative may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent. Use client management, account deletion or full export in the app, or contact us below. We perform only necessary identity checks and respond under applicable law, explaining any limitations.

Professionals storing another person’s information must explain the purposes and scope of retention/disclosure and obtain consent or another lawful basis. Clients may contact the professional who entered their information or us to exercise their rights. Do not enter unnecessary sensitive information or national identification numbers.

Do not register children’s information without valid parental or guardian consent where it is required. A guardian or the individual may request deletion if information was processed without the required consent.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, encryption at rest for client names, birth data, charts, tags, consultation content and purchase-verification references, and authentication with account-level access controls. Recent charts are encrypted on the device, with the encryption key held in the operating system’s secure storage.

Keep your device and email account secure and protect exported files and shared records.
